Visibility to Recruiters
Verified recruiters on the Platform can view the publicly available information in your profile (such as your name, department, batch, skills, and other details you choose to make public) to evaluate you as a potential candidate for their job postings.
Automated Job Matching
We operate a recommendation system that matches you to relevant job postings. It scores and ranks profiles using specific information you provide, including your:
- Department
- Skills
- Openness to opportunities (students: availability and what you are looking for; alumni: the "Open for Jobs" setting)
- Expected salary
- Preferred locations
Based on these signals, the system may surface your profile to a recruiter as a suggested candidate for a matching job, and may include matching jobs in the emails we send you. You control the "Open for Jobs" setting (alumni) and can opt out of job-match emails at any time.
